When you can actually put yourself into the world of your hero?
Sure, it takes a little more work, but I think the kid is worth it.
You simply start with a template:
Pencil it in.
Pose the kid.
Cut him out.
Splash some color.
The devil is in the detail.
Make sure he stays involved.
And in the end, it's like he really is Superman, catching a car.
